Fashionistas love shoes! They buy all sorts of colors and style. But if you're dreaming to be one of the "Blair" in school you should first know some basics in fashion - like shoes! We'll tackle every type of shoe one at a time. Today, we'll talk about wedges!

Wedges are the shoes that doesn't go out of style. It can be worn during summer, on your gimmick days with friends and family, and even during night outs at the club and other formal events. I, myself, am a fan of wedges! It's so easy to walk and stand with them unlike other shoes. But how would you know that the shoe on the department store is a wedge?

Wedges are high-heeled shoes. Unlike other high-heeled shoes, wedges don't just have the heel that directly points from the toe. It's a smooth high-heeled shoes because the elevation of the shoes comes straight from the upper portion of the foot down to your toes.

That's one of my wedges there, haha! Wedges comes from different designs. More often than not, wedges use a wood effect on its heels. It's appealing to the eyes and gives a little interest to the shoes. What's another good thing about wedges is that if you're not comfortable wearing stilettos because of worrying too much to have a sprain and hurt your ankle, wedges are a comfortable way of looking taller, smarter and sexy. A little warning though, the hight the heels the more weight you put at the front of your foot. Still more women love wearing wedges. It can be with straps, slip-on, closed or open toe wedges. You can find wedges almost everywhere. Especially nowadays that imported items are being sold in the market from Asian countries, I'm pretty sure you'll find the wedge that fits you well!
