Attending blogger event regularly gives you the opportunity to dress up – and I love it! I am given the privilege to wear my cute dresses, skirts and fabulous shoes. I am not the only one who can pull off a simple jacket or a nice pair of pointed shoes.

It’s impossible for a Filipino to not know Lucy Torres-Gomez. I can still recall that she was a model for a shampoo brand (Lux) before she became acquainted with Richard Gomez. After a few years she became Lucy Torres-Gomez and, for me, she gave Richard Gomez the reason to settle down. Now, she’s not just Richard’s wife, she’s also a caring mother to their daughter and the beautiful congresswoman of Ormoc, Leyte.

Lucy Torres-Gomez is actually one of my local celebrity idols. She exudes the perfect aura of womanhood and sophisticatio. If you’ll look at her you might think of the same thing I ask every time I see her on TV: “How does she do that? How does she stay young, fresh and beautiful as ever?” Lucy is actually in her somatopausal age just like most of us but we just can’t see it.

Immuvit’s Run Against Time Campaign

As I’ve mentioned in my earlier post about Immuvit, I am in my early 20s. I don’t have an active lifestyle. I don’t go to the gym regularly. I eat too much sweet. I eat a lot, by nature, especially when I am stressed and burned out with my day job and about many things.

I am very lucky to have been invited in Immuvit’s event. I believe this is their advocacy event against aging. At an early age, I observe people defying the process of aging especially with all the commercials we see on TV. Its either people go to Belo or Calayan to hide wrinkles and to take away excess fat or they spend thousands of pesos with their medicine of different kinds to make them look young.

Health and wellness is pretty much everywhere. It’s in different spa salons, in your soap’s formulation, in the food you eat and even in your shoes. Most products nowadays consider health and wellness. From this, we can say that it’s the hottest thing right now.

I am in my early 20s and I don’t have an active lifestyle. I feel the need of doing exercises every morning or attending dance classes every week but my lifestyle just doesn’t approve it.
