Product Review: Glam Works' Nose Pore Strips

By Sai

Blackheads are one of the major problems that most of us, not only ladies, experience every day. With the pollution in our environment, it will be a miracle if one has never had a blackhead before :P If you know someone then they are blessed - REALLY BLESSED!

I don't like blackheads! They annoy me so I make sure that I remove them regularly. My boyfriend and I decided to get one of these over-the-counter nose strips to remove our blackheads (yeah, that's our bonding and trip that day :P). So we went to the cashier and bought Glam Works' Nose Pore Strips.

I am sailing

By Sai

Whew! Finally, I posted a new look on Lookbook after how many months of being so quiet in that site. I was very busy and I really need to catch up big time! I haven't been blogging a lot but I am trying my best to update you guys with all my girly adventures ^_^

I hope you've read my post about saving the environment by decreasing your carbon footprint. We covered the blogger launch of Alter Space and we got the chance to relax - Mind you! not just relax but R-E-L-A-X! I got the chance to try sailing for the first time. So here's my look:

Alter Space at the Nurture Spa Village in Tagaytay

By Sai

I am in Nurture Spa Village in Tagaytay right now for the Alter Space Event by Aboitiz Power. So what am I doing here? I advocate for their cause that's why I confirmed my attendance in this event. If you've noticed I am really into saving the environment and today Aboitiz Power introduces their newest Facebook application that will somehow help us save our environment.

Alter Space is the first of its kind - Philippine-made Facebook game that talks about how we could actually reduce our carbon footprint. Before I actually proceed with this post, I know what's on your mind - what is carbon footprint as well as what we all love to say it, "The hell I care about that carbon footprint thingy!" Well, my fab friend, FYI, you are responsible for global warming and other sudden changes in the environment such as climate change. The good thing about it is that there's something you can do.

I personally tried playing the game and I think it's so cute! Why?
  1. The design is very approachable (even kids can relate to it and they can also play it).
  2. The game represents scenario in real life that will help us realize how to lessen our carbon footprints.
  3. It gives us the idea that decreasing our carbon footprints are possible and that it's not hard to practice.
  4. It teaches us another way to save Mother Earth.
I've been starting to support advocacies about saving our environment lately (publicly speaking) but I've been into this since grade school. I personally want to save energy (my own energy per se) and I am a firm believer of being responsible of our actions that will, in the long run, affect our precious environment.

The apps looks like this:
This is how it looks like when you're about to start playing the game. Of course, you need to choose your planet's name first :)

Oh yeah! My avatar is sleeping!

Coke Dream Pack Contest! Join now!

Posted by Sai
Do you think you're creative? Do you dream of making up new designs? Improve existing ones?

Here's how you can do all of that and get the chance to win an iTouch! Just answer the following questions in 150 words or less and submit them to dreampack2011@gmail.com.

If you had a dream Coke pack/bottle, what would it look like? How would you make it portable? How many mL/oz.? What would you call it and why? (e.g. in the same way we call the small Coke bottle Coke "Sakto").
It's fun to make up nicknames. How would you call a new Coke pack/bottle if it had the following characteristics and why?
"It's a new handy and re-sealable bottle which I can drink to go with my snacks, anytime, anywhere, whenever the need strikes. It is convenient, instant refreshment whenever, and wherever I go: be it travel, trip to the mall, gimmick, or just simply when I'm on-the-go. Truly a great companion for my mobile lifestyle."

ON SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT: Estero de Paco

By Sai

It's really nice to be involved in our government's, as well as private institutions', efforts in saving our environment. I remember participating in Pepsi's Sarap Magbago Campaign last 2009 where we went to Nasugbu, Batangas in the Hamilo Coast for the coastal cleanup. It was very fulfilling! It's nice to know that I can somehow offer my help in initiatives like this in my own little way.

Today, I read this article about Estero De Paco. I actually don't know where it's located, and I have never been there but I saw it's before and after photo and I must commend those who made this possible.

Justin Bieber is Proactiv

By Sai

Yes! You read it right! Justin Bieber is the newest endorser of Proactiv! I can still remember when I use to watch Proactiv infomercial before and it was Jessica Simpson who's promoting the brand then. Now, Proactiv also got Bieber's attention.

When you're a celebrity, it's really a MUST that you maintain your clear and healthy skin! We all know that Justin Bieber is a busy kid. Since he's in his teenage years, pimples are his major enemy.

Manels bares new image in 2011

By Sai

Are you a loyal fan of Manels? If you are you'll definitely notice the hip designs of Manels this year! According to Mark Siggaoat, Manels’ Head of Operations, Manels did well last year and they are confident that they will surpass last year's achievement with their launching of the new Manels. Hmmm, I wonder what the "new Manels"  will look like (or looks like). I have to visit Manels in SM Megamall to check out this new image.

It's A Parade of Heavenly Bodies at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2010

By Sai

I was browsing through my personal email. I know! I know! I got lots of unread email! I think I should hire an assistant just to read my emails and update me with new press releases and event invites sent through my email. Whoa! I'm like Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City! LOL, I remember how much I love that show!

Going back to the topic, I got this press release from a friend and I just opened it now! This is a late post but I saw Katy Perry (I think) in one of the photos so I think it's worth blogging hahaha! Read the press release from Victoria's Secret below:

I will invade Disneyland with cheap tickets!

By Sai

Disneyland, oh Disneyland! I have been dreaming of going to Disneyland ever since I was a kid but I never got the time and the opportunity to go with my family members to enjoy and have fun with Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang. Let's just say that I'm a major kill joy when I was a kid :P

Now that I have the money, the time, and the will to go there I will not waste any moment! I was browsing through my Facebook account (as usual) and I found this discount Disneyland tickets link! Upon checking the site, I had this idea that not all people who go to Disneyland gets what they payed for. Is that true? That when you go to Disneyland you might get lost and you'll spend most of your time looking for your ideal place to have fun? Oh well, it's up for me to find out.
