Victoria Secret's Little Black Bikini

I have always been a fan of black especially with my undergarments. I only have 2 colors in the underwear department, it's either black or skin tone. I just feel that I can go away with anything with them.

Victoria's Secret is also with me. With their latest lingerie collection, black is, indeed, the new "IT" thing. If you're going to ask me, it has always been like that as black symbolizes elegance and class.

SS14 Hair Trends Wars: Long Hair V Short Hair

An age old feud that has battled throughout the decades – which hair style is truly best, long or short? Of course it depends on individual preferences, such as personality and face shape, yet the catwalk trends are also influential in determining which hair styles come out trumps each season. From super straight long styles to funky short crops, the hair lengths battled it out again on the catwalks this season - discover the coolest ways in which to style the opposing lengths below:

Long hair

A timeless length that appears season after season, it’s no surprise many designers favoured long hair this SS14. This year sees a move from OTT glamorous curls and volumised styles, towards super straight and sleek hair. Models at Alexander Wang sported dead straight locks with harsh centre partings for a futuristic and modern look. For a more relaxed style that still incorporates movement, mermaid waves and tousles were still seen at Versace, Diane von Furstenberg and Christopher Kane, minus the volume on top for a modern take on the boho style.

There are many benefits for super long swishy locks, the main one being the ability to wear in countless styles from messy braids to chic ponytails. Super slick low ponytails secured at the nape of the neck were seen at Altuzarra & Jason Wu, where models makeup contrasted against the simple style with dramatic eyes and bold red lips.

Short Hair

From chic and simple to daring and cool, short hair ruled the catwalks this season. Sixties inspired pixie cuts were seen at Chanel, punk inspired spikey crops at Marc Jacobs and rock n roll slick wetback looks at Gucci – all edgy key looks on the catwalk this season. However the coolest haircut of 2014 has to be The Bob. From slick and smooth at Jason Wu, to choppy and textured at Balmain; London, Paris, New York & Milan all rocked the iconic style on the runways this season.

Many think short hair is limiting when it comes to styling and choosing a cut to suit them. However short hair can be surprisingly versatile - from simple and easy classic crops to edgy grunge style bobs, there’s a shorty to suit all personalities and face shapes. A super easy to wear style that’s iconic and chic, every woman should go short at least once in their life.

To create fashion-forward hair styles this season, a varied range of scissors to create all the different techniques, styles and cuts your client may require for Spring Summer is essential. Bang on trend hairstyles require cutting edge tools of the trade, keep stocked up on all types of Professional Scissors at http://www.coolblades.co.uk/

5 skin care tips to prevent acne breakouts

Regardless of how old you are, you will be experiencing acne breakouts. There are times when you will be experiencing sudden acne breakouts. During such times, there is no need for you to fret. Here are some of the different ways on how you can reduce the chance of developing acne breakouts.

Have good skin hygiene.

As we all know, acne is a result of overproduction of sebum in your face, when the sebum is mixed with dead skin cells in the surface of your skin, infection can occur and it will be a lot harder for you to treat your acne. The sebum feeds the anaerobic bacteria which may lead to an acne breakout. When you maintain good skin hygiene, this can be easily prevented. At the end of the day, use a gentle exfoliant in removing dead skin cells from your face. Shower after a long day out. These are simple tips that you can follow so that you can avoid acne breakouts.

Have a good amount of sleep.

We all know that sleep can do great wonders for our immune system. Because of this, healing of skin will be promoted if you will be getting the right amount of sleep every night. Go to bed early and at the same time during most evenings. In this way, you can easily establish a great sleeping pattern. Avoid lights from entering your room during sleep time. Last but not the least; avoid drinking caffeinated drinks a few hours before you sleep.
Drink lots of water.

When you drink the right amount of water that your body needs, you will be able to keep your skin hydrated. When you are hydrated, you can easily get rid of toxins from your body. As a result, acne breakouts can be easily prevented.

Use high quality skin care products.

With the amount of products scattered around the skin care industry these days, it can be quite hard for people to determine which products are trustworthy. One good way to determine the reliability of a product is to listen to the reviews and advice of a skin care professional. Dermatologist-recommended skin care products are highly recommended since these are already tried and tested.

Lessen the use of chemicals at home.

There are lots of home cleaning products that contain chemicals which may worsen your skin condition. It would be best that you avoid the use of such products and opt for the organic ones instead. It will not only be safer for the environment; it would be a lot gentler to your skin too.

Follow these simple acne prevention tips so that you will be spared with the headache worrying about possible breakouts that might call for immediate acne treatments. With these tips, you never have to worry about suffering from acne breakouts ever again.
