Style Picks: Summer Dress Styling Ideas

When it's summer, most of us will think of wearing shorts a lot! Yes, they're so comfy especially when you pair it with your favorite slippers or flat shoes. Well, shorts are not the only type of ensemble that you can wear this hot season. Dresses are also in! It can make you look so dainty, girly and comfy too!

For this week's Style Picks, I picked three dresses from Style in View. I also picked out some items in their shop just to give you an idea on how to style your dress. Excited? Here you go!

Look #1: A walk by the beach

Let me set the mood. It's twilight and you decided to stroll the beach. If you're single then you should be wearing that dress that will definitely caught all potential boyfriends' eye by the beach. Hahaha! Just kidding! This dress I picked for you will show off a little skin but is still cute and sassy for that girl-next-door look.

Look #2: Hot date

Summer is the second love season! Yes it is! Even Olivia Newton-John found her summer love, right? Of course, wearing a simple and well-styled dress outfit will really give you a boost in Cupid's world. During your date, I highly recommend wearing these pieces! It's sweet, simple yet fashionable.

Look #3: Lunch/movie date with your friends

Because school is off then you have more time bonding with your family and friends. I know how you love going out with them for a yummy lunch date or spending the afternoon at the mall before your movie night out. I sure love doing those things and because I love wearing dresses I'd probably wear something like the photo you see below.

As you can see, whatever look you choose for whatever occasion, you should never leave your house without your hat or your sunglasses for skin and eye protection.
