I made a video about how to organize your makeup kit. For a newbie makeup artist like me, organizing my stuff is a problem. I am starting to invest on different makeups and tools. Don't mind my background. My room is a bit messy. I hope you will learn something from my video.

Anthem puts the fun and fearless in Filipino fashion
By Sai
Fashion is an expression. Filipinos are continuously adopting different styles due to different cultures we are exposed to. You might have noticed the increasing number of teens and young adults adopting the rocker style or the “emo” fashion statement. Some are comfortable showing off some skin to achieve that western look. As for me I try to keep it fun and comfy!
Filipinos have always wanted to be fun and fearless in fashion but we have a hard time doing so because of brand scarcity in the Philippines that would cater to this penchant until 2006 when Cheryl Lao and Eric Lee decided to put up the Anthem specialty store.
“I think this is why Anthem has immediately established a loyal client base. They see in the store the brands that they only used to be able to buy during their trips abroad,” says Lee.
Anthem opened its first retail store at Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. Anthem has been a haven for fashionistas since 2006 and is serving more and more customers every year. It carries a diverse mix of brands like Tokidoki, Paul Frank, Affliction and Harajuku just to name a few.

My First Photo Shoot as a Makeup Artist
By Sai
Yes! I was freakin’ nervous at the beginning! It was my first time to do the models’ makeup for the Androgyny Concept. The concept is pretty interesting. It was what most people would prefer as “sexuality confusion”. Thanks to this wonderful idea by the photographer, Rydel Flores.
The makeup application is quite easy – just the basic foundation, a little bronzer and black-lined eyes. Here is a photo of my models:
