EVENTS: Matrix Philippines introduces Bianca Manalo as their first-ever Filipino endorser

Bianca Manalo for Matrix Philippines
I was invited to cover a closed-door event last February 17, 2012 at the L'Oreal Academie in Ortigas Center. It was the press conference by Matrix Philippines. They introduced their first-ever Filipina and first Asian endorser, Bianca Manalo - Bb. Pilipinas 2009-Universe, celebrity, model and host.

WHO IS MATRIX?

Matrix was founded in 1980 by Arnie Miller, a hairdresser from Ohia, USA. In 2000, Matrix became L'Oreal's newest member and in just five years Matrix was introduced in the Philippines.

What I like about Matrix is that they are committed in providing the most affordable products to hair professionals and that they provide extensive trainings to those who really want to become an expert in hair styling.

MATRIX VS. CHINA-MADE HAIR PRODUCTS

This was asked during the event. What is/are their edge especially now that hair products from China are almost anywhere. Of course, Matrix products are backed up with years of research especially now that they introduced them in the Philippines. Filipina hair is different from their original formulation back there in America. Matrix products promote safety and most importantly they belong to L'Oreal's group of trusted products all over the world.

THE MATRIX CARAVAN

When I heard that Matrix is providing professional education on hair dressing, honestly, I really got interested. I actually want to learn the basics of hair dressing. Matrix created their own caravan so they can reach aspiring hairdressers around the Philippines. I'm not so sure if there's a fee for this one but if you're going to enroll in the L'Oreal Academie then you'll definitely going to pay a reasonable amount for the products and tools that you're going to use :) Have you seen this caravan in your neighborhood yet?

This is how the caravan looks like.

Products demo and certificates are being given to participants. There's also an onsite selling to participants so they can start using affordable quality products from Matrix.

True to its mission of uplifting the Philippine hairdressing industry, Matrix equips hairdressers with not only the best products but also the best, most accessible professional education. It offers numerous education courses, from the Matrix Expert Program covering a complete course on hairdressing, to the Basic Certificate Programs covering basic focused courses. And just last year, Matrix Philippines prides itself in pioneering the Matrix Education Caravan. By creating this mobile salon on wheels, Matrix was able to travel to different key cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao bringing the education to the hairdressers - now we can truly imagine the most accessible education.

Imagine Salon and Personal Success. By partnering with Matrix, salons become part of dynamin business building programs. These programs impart strategies such as providing customized marketing pull projects like promotions and contests that encourage customers to enter their salons. Most importantly, they are able to build the brand image and better manage their salons which guarantee annual savings and more rewards in the long run.

BIANCA MANALO - THE FIRST-EVER MATRIX FILIPINO ENDORSER

Achieving yet another milestone on its 7th year in the Philippines, Matrix welcomes Bianca Manalo as the first-ever Filipino endorser. Capturing the true essence of Filipina beauty, Bianca Manalo is the new face of Matrix, representing not just the brand but also its core values - connected, daring and dynamic, and always radiating positive energy. Dynamic as ever, Bianca has played various roles in her career from her first feature role in the primetime series Magkaribal to the leading role in the afternoon drama series Juanita Banana, as well as hosting a daily variety show Happy Yippie Yehey, among others. Being the former Bb. Pilipinas-Univers 2009 proves that her world class beauty truly imbibes the spirit of Matrix - aspirational yet very accessible and relatable."
