Dream Home, take me home!

By Sai

I got invited in Dream Home’s blogger event last August 26, 2010 and I actually learned a lot from the event. I attended this event because The Fashionista is not just a beauty or makeup blog, it’s actually a lifestyle blog – just an FYI. This event is perfect because since I’m an OC person, I want my bedroom to look clean, pleasing and in order.

One thing that I learned in this event is how to match colors in your room. If you’re buying a new bed sheet at SM department stores or SM Hypermart branches, you might be thinking of the right bed sheet color that will match the color of your room. Now here’s a tip I learned.

Can you see the color wheel below?
Color wheel
Okay, so take a look at the colors in the color wheel. Identify where your room’s color is located in the color wheel. This is pretty basic actually but only some of us have mastered all the color lessons that we have during our art classes.

Once you’ve identified where your room color is located, take a look at the color directly opposite to it. See it? That’s what you call complementary colors. From the word itself, the two colors, which are directly opposite each other, complements each other. So you should pick colors that complement your room color. Nice ey?

Dream Home is the exclusive brand of Canadian Manufacturing for SM Hypermarket’s wise and practical buyers that want to get more than their money’s worth. Adhering to the market’s call for quality, Dream Home has all the features that any buyer/customer should look for in a good quality linen:

  • Processed with anti-pilling: We often think that pilling (or himulmul in Filipino) comes with age of a fiber and cannot be prevented. Dream Home made an extra effort by making their sheets undergo an additional process of anti-pilling so their linens won’t pill with proper care and washing.
  • Cotton Rich: Did you know that cotton shrinks over time that’s why you might encounter fitted sheets that won’t fit your bed over a period of time. Dream Home has a solution to that by blending the right amount of cotton with another compound thus reducing the shrinkage considerably.
  • Easy Care: With the right blend of cotton, Dream Home bedsheets are low maintenance. Easy to wash, dry and has less creasings.
  • Fully Garterized: The top and bottom of Dream Home fitted sheets are fully garterized for a snug fit.
  • Trendy and Stylish Designs: The designs are not done overnight. They are carefully studied and researched based on the current year’s color and fashion forecast.
  • Dream Home bedsheets are free from carcinogenic and environmental hazardous substances such as azo dyes and lead. It has the OEKOTEX label, a trusted benchmark for quality and safety.
So when you’re out looking shopping for bedsheets, always look for quality --- look for Dream Home, a brand that will give you more than your money’s worth.
