Freeway honors National Artist F. Sionil Jose

I got a book from F. Sionil Jose himself :)

Okay fine! I admit it! I'm not the most literary person that you'll ever meet! There was even a time when I don't really want to read books when I was in high school. I like working in my own pace and I don't like the way my HS teachers instruct me to read a 10-inch thick book in just a month. I don't even have a fast reading pace so that's hella work for me! Good thing. I can always get away with home reading report projects with the help of the Internet! Hahahaha, yes! I reword synopsis available in the net and pass it to my English teacher! Hahahaha, but of course, through the years I developed the hobby of reading. See? I really need to work at my own pace and I am so happy to see the National Artist F Sionil Jose in person because of Freeway!

Again, I don't know every one in the industry of writing, books and novels. I know a few but I don't know them all. Let's have a little secret, shall we? (Whispers) I don't know who F. Sionil Jose was until I saw him in the Freeway event (boo! Yes, I know your booing me right now but hey! I'm just being honest! Hahahaha).

I am happy that the Freeway event turned out as a way of honoring F. Sionil Jose's work. I forgot how they call that kind of gathering (my grandparent's era) but it's basically reading literary works of the author in honor of his exemplary work.

My jaw literally dropped when Cherry Gil delivered and acted one of F. Sionil Jose's work. SHE-IS-FREAKING-AMAZING! The readings were accompanied by a music played by a piano, which gave life to the readings, of course.

I'm excited to read F. Sionil Jose's book! I just need to find time to read it :) Again, thank you Freeway for this wonderful and epic opportunity! I love F. Sionil Jose's work. I had a sneak peek of how he writes through this event and I am nationalistic myself. I love the settings of his work and with his talent in writing we don't need to argue why he's one of the national artists ;)
