Hey! Honestly, I really miss blogging! Sorry if I don't post that much. I'm just attending to some personal matters in my life (drama! LOL) so I end up posting nothing. 

This "news" surprised me this morning! I saw this newspaper on my table. This is from Stan and I got so ecstatic that I took photos right away. Of course, I want to share them to you. I got featured (though it was just a photo of me) in The Philippine Star's June 28 issue. I haven't read the article yet. This was during the Freeway F. Sionil Jose event held at The Row in Glorietta 5 last May 31, 2011.

This is how I look yesterday :) I felt like doing some makeup (again) that morning (before going to work). Applying makeup is so fun that I think of it as my play time! Hahaha! I notice myself experimenting a lot with makeup colors, which I think is fantastic because I get to test my creativity! Yesterday, I was thinking how to work a blue eyeshadow as my base and this is what I came up with.

Okay fine! I admit it! I'm not the most literary person that you'll ever meet! There was even a time when I don't really want to read books when I was in high school. I like working in my own pace and I don't like the way my HS teachers instruct me to read a 10-inch thick book in just a month. I don't even have a fast reading pace so that's hella work for me! Good thing. I can always get away with home reading report projects with the help of the Internet! Hahahaha, yes! I reword synopsis available in the net and pass it to my English teacher! Hahahaha, but of course, through the years I developed the hobby of reading. See? I really need to work at my own pace and I am so happy to see the National Artist F Sionil Jose in person because of Freeway!

Again, I don't know every one in the industry of writing, books and novels. I know a few but I don't know them all. Let's have a little secret, shall we? (Whispers) I don't know who F. Sionil Jose was until I saw him in the Freeway event (boo! Yes, I know your booing me right now but hey! I'm just being honest! Hahahaha).

Nail of the Day (NOTD): Flowers and Butterflies

For the first time in my life I had the courage to get out of my nail polish comfort zone. I usually wear pink, red, tangerine or black nail polish. Today, I'm proud to say that I'm a grown up girl (hahaha, just because I'm wearing a different nail polish color than usual means I'm a grown up LOL)

So, here's the result of my "Vanity Attack" yesterday and was continued late at night. My boyfriend actually helped me with the finishing touches.

Oops sorry if the photo is a bit blurry. Here's a closer look at my nails (proud tone hahaha) but please don't mind my fingers/hand. I'm not gifted with a beautiful hand hahaha.

Geez! I'm so sad right now :( Our dear dog, Jennifer, died because of giving birth. It was my first time to experience our pet dying. I mean, I lost my puppies before (Yumi's) but it was because my mom gave them away (major boo!). Jennifer died on June 4, 2011 around 2 to 3pm :(
