FASHION BLOG: Hey ladies! I'm back with another Lookbook update. I really want to do a regular lookbook post every week but I just can't due to lack of time and no one is always around to take my photos. This week I want to show you how I styled myself at the Freeway x Botong Launch last October 18, 2012.

Believe it or not I really plan my outfits especially when I'm going to events. It's actually a bit hard to live up to people's expectation. I know I should not consider others when I'm dressing up. It should be about me and my style. But the thing is, as a fashion blogger, and I believe other fashion bloggers will also agree with me on this, you A-L-W-A-Y-S have to look fabulous, elegant and fashionable. It's part of building your reputation. Think about this: If I keep on wearing jeans, a basic tee, my flats and my good old shoulder bag, (without any accessories, with a messy hair in a very messy and not fashionable way and without wearing any makeup) who would believe that I am a fashion blogger? No one, right? So, I really plan ahead if I'll attend a party or a blog event.

Since I want to style Solenn Heussaff (details will be revealed later), I had a headache on planning a white-inspired outfit. It shouldn't be that hard but I gained weight so my white layered dress does not fit me anymore. I had to rethink and replan my outfit.

I wore my favorite white top with a lace detail at the back that I bought and wore just for my son's Christening. You can check out that look here. I started building my outfit from this top. I need to incorporate white in this outfit and I'm pretty happy with the result. My blogger friends at the Freeway event complimented my look. They said I look so corporate-ish but in a casual way. IKR! I also love my outfit haha :P I feel so fulfilled! Every outfit that I post is an accomplishment (if you know what I mean)! I also posted my FOTD and products used for my makeup for this look. I accentuated my skirt (sort of) using my white belt. There couldn't be any other color that's better than white for this outfit. I think the white top and belt really made me stood out. It reflected the way I feel that day - chic, modern, casual but perfect for the office. We all know that white is a classic color and that's the reason why I chose a white top for this look.
